AUGUST 2024 NEWSLETTER

INTRODUCTION

“Do your little bit of good where you are; it is those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”

— Archbishop Desmond Tutu

As we step into September, we’re thrilled to look back and share the highlights from August. The month was filled with impactful collaborations and partnerships across our state offices, underscoring our collective dedication to meaningful change.

In August, we honoured World Humanitarian Day with a heartfelt tribute to the incredible AYGF team members who embody the spirit of humanitarianism every day. Don’t miss the video where our team reflects on the true essence of being a humanitarian.

We also proudly celebrated International Youth Day, embracing the theme ‘From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.‘ This theme highlights the pivotal role youth play in addressing global challenges. Be sure to watch the video highlights.

Amidst a busy month, the AYGF team also took time to relax and recharge with a fun-filled bonding session. We enjoyed games and shared moments of relaxation—catch the highlights of these joyful moments below.

Looking ahead, we’re optimistic about the new projects and opportunities that September will bring. Each step we take brings us closer to our mission of building, projecting, and protecting the future of Africa.
